#1 Kinstretch Vs. One-On-One Training:
Kinstretch is a practice designed to help you improve mobility, flexibility, body control and joint health.
It is important to note that Kinstretch classes are not designed to replace one-on-one training with a professional.
For example, the best way to answer very individualized questions like what body parts you should start with, focus on, when to progress, and how to sequence things is a practitioner who can assess your body, get a good picture of your daily life and physical demands, and discuss your specific goals.
This does not mean that you won’t get any benefit from joining the online Kinstretch subscription. It does mean that a generic one-size-fits-all program is likely not the best way that we can help you and everyone else via online Kinstretch.
In reality, every single person doing the online Kinstretch classes will have a different physical baseline, different joints/areas that need attention, and different goals.
As such, the best way that we can help you through online Kinstretch is to help you determine the answers to those questions based on YOUR body’s needs by offering you things like a self-assessment section, detailed tutorials on what compensations/signs of limitations to look for to help you learn which areas you struggle with, information speaking to how you can determine how many classes to get started with, and how to use all of that information to choose which classes you focus on based on your body’s needs and your goals!
#2 Getting Specific With Your Online Kinstretch
Our aim is to help you figure out which joints in YOUR body need the most attention and which need attention first. That will vary for you and the next person. Some of you may already know which areas you need or want to focus on, which is great!
For one person their shoulder might need the most attention, for the next person it might be their spine, and for the next person it might be their knee. Each of these people would then need to start with different classes.
Beyond that, we have to consider which movements or parts of those particular joints need attention.
For example, does your shoulder need more internal rotation, external rotation, flexion, abduction, or other range of motion? This will also differ from one person to the next.
Of those movements for those joints does your joint need more range of motion? Or are you hypermobile and therefore need more tissue capacity in your existing range of motion rather than acquiring more range of motion?
Based on the above, you can now likely see how the answers to these questions are going to be VERY different from one person to the next.

Offer you some insight and information regarding how many body areas and classes to focus on at once
Help you prioritize your areas of focus and class choices
Offer you a library of classes with tools to help improve your specific deficits by not only offering you a library of classes for each joint, but also for each movement of each joint. This way you can choose classes that are completely dedicated to the specific deficit that you have in that joint.
Give you classes that get progressively harder over time so you can improve your range of motion, body control, tissue capacity, resiliency, and joint health.
Offer additional online consultations for those that want to chat one-on-one to review your history, goals, and do an online assessment to help you determine which classes would be best for you right now
With this strategy, each person’s online Kinstretch class journey is going to be different and unique to them!
